Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This page explains what data we collect and how we protect it when you use CT Finder — you can browse without an account.

At CT Finder , we respect your privacy. CT Finder is a listings directory — you can browse without an account, and we collect as little as possible. Below is a plain-English summary of what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Privacy Policy

You can browse listings on CT Finder without creating an account or giving us any personal details. Like most websites, our servers may log basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working properly.

If you register or post a listing, we collect the details you choose to provide — such as your name, email, phone number and the content of your ad. This information is used to run your account and display your listing. You can edit or remove it at any time.

When you contact an advertiser, you do so directly by phone, WhatsApp or the details on their profile. CT Finder is not part of that conversation — we do not see, record or store your calls or messages, and any arrangement stays strictly between you and the advertiser.

We use the information you give us only to operate the platform: to run accounts, publish listings, provide support, prevent abuse and keep the site secure. We do not use it for anything else.

  • To run your account or publish your listing — we process the details you provide because it is necessary to deliver the service you asked for.
  • Consent — anything extra you choose to make public in a listing, or the details you share when contacting an advertiser, is processed on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — we also process limited data to keep the platform working, prevent fraud and abuse, and stay compliant with the law, in a way that respects your rights.

If you use the phone number, WhatsApp, or details in a listing to contact an advertiser, any information you then share goes directly to that advertiser — not through CT Finder. At that point the advertiser, not us, is responsible for how your information is used or stored. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, what happens to your data once it leaves the platform.

  • We never sell your personal information.
  • We never resell or share phone numbers with third parties.
  • We never pass your data to advertisers or anyone else for marketing.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and to limit access to it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to store only what we actually need.

Our website may use cookies to improve performance and make browsing easier — for example, to remember your preferences. These are standard features that help the site work; you can control cookies through your browser settings.

Like most websites, we may use small, invisible image files (sometimes called web beacons, pixels, or clear GIFs) and standard analytics to understand which pages are popular and how the platform is used. These collect only anonymous, aggregated usage data — they do not identify you personally. You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser; see our Cookie Policy.

Our website may link to other services. We do not control these sites, so please check their own policies before sharing any details with them.

This website is strictly for individuals 18 years and older. By using CT Finder, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We do not ask for, access, or track the GPS or geo-location of your device. If you choose a city while browsing, that is simply a menu choice — it is not your real-time location. Your device location stays private.

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We may disclose information only in these limited situations:

  • When required by law, a court order, or a valid request from a law-enforcement or government authority.
  • To prevent, investigate, or act on fraud, abuse, or a serious safety risk.
  • To protect a suspected victim of abuse, coercion, trafficking, or exploitation — in which case we may share relevant information with the police, child-protection services, or another competent authority at our discretion.

If CT Finder is ever merged, acquired, or its assets are sold, your information may be part of that transfer. If that happens, we will require the new owner to honour this Privacy Policy, and we will let users know of any material change to how their data is collected or used.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed to run your account and provide the service, or as required by law. When you delete your account or a listing, the associated personal data is removed or anonymised, except where we must retain certain records to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.

This Privacy Policy and any dispute relating to your data are governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

If you have a complaint about how your personal data is handled, or wish to exercise your rights (access, correction, or deletion), contact our Grievance Officer under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules, 2021:

  • Email: support@ctfinder.com
  • We acknowledge every request within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We encourage you to check this page occasionally to stay informed about any changes.

If you have any questions about your privacy, feel free to contact us at support@ctfinder.com . We're here to help.
